Have you ever played Draw Something?
If not, I’ll bring you up to speed. It’s a smartphone app that is very similar to the classic game Pictionary; you draw a picture and your friend has a certain number of letters to make sense of it. Once they’ve guessed it’s their turn to draw something for you, and so on.
Earlier today my friend Mike and I hit what we call a personal milestone; 100 correct guesses in a row! We made 50 drawings and 50 guesses per person, without any help or clues from the other. Most people probably would just laugh it off and forget about it, but not us. We’re both firm believers that you have to bask in the glory of life’s little things, and bask we shall!
We have continued the game and will until we get one wrong, here’s to another 100! If you have ...

The internet is full of funny cartoons, games, articles, and other stuff to keep you occupied if you find yourself bored at any time. The other day I came across “Draw A Stickman” which I thought was just something similar to “Paint” on any Windows computer, when I clicked the link I was pleasantly surprised. This particular find ranks among the best websites for personal entertainment in my book, check it out and have some fun!

I love PVRs.
Last night I was at the gym during the beginning of America’s Got Talent so I set my trusty PVR so I wouldn’t miss a second of Howard Stern’s debut as a judge. AGT did it right too; they introduced the self-proclaimed "King of All Media" with a montage featuring the Rolling Stones’ Sympathy for the Devil and never looked back!
Howard Stern was a controversial choice for a judge as most people would expect, but he seemed to have his filter engaged all night long. Howard even had great banter with Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel before, during, and after each performer they had to critique. At one point the three of them each took turns taking shots at the “Stripping Magician” auditioning for the show (scroll down for the video), with each joke came a snicker from the crowd followed by a unanimous “NO!” from ...

Now that we’ve entered the third round of the NHL Playoffs I can say it… WHAT IS GOING ON?!
The remaining teams are a bit of a surprise to most people, or so it would seem anyway. Some would have said that the New York Rangers would have made it this far (myself included), but the Coyotes, Kings, and Devils were what you would have called an “underdog” in the race for the Cup. If you’re in a hockey pool like a few of us here at KHJ I hope you’re doing better than I am; I made picks based on stats from the regular season, needless to say that didn’t work out.
This round and the Stanley Cup Final are going to be just as much of a surprise as the first two. Expect nothing, and hope for everything is the best advice I can give you now! Just ...

Yesterday it was announced that Queen Street is “Canada’s Greatest Street” which is great, but that’s not the only reason we should be proud to be Frederictonians. We have many great attributes about our city that all add up to make one of the best places to live in Canada, actually even the World.
Fredericton is a city with beautiful landscapes and architecture; both new and old. Our Downtown buildings are like something out of a history book which is what makes the look of our city so unique. People from all over come just to see the layout of Fredericton and the buildings that have stood for years like the Legislature and City Hall to name a couple.
With two Universities in town it’s hard to say that we’re not an intellectual community. In fact, I would say for a city our size that has made so many ...
