The owner of a Fredericton restaurant has pleaded guilty to offences under the Fish and Wildlife Act. Tina Tu, 61, was scheduled to go to trial Thursday after a bear carcass was discovered in a freezer at the Mandarin Palace last December. But it turns out Tu was in court last week and admitted to possessing wildlife on the premises of a restaurant and possessing a carcass without a transfer permit. She was fined a total of $465.
