The second LP of this double album gets bogged down in lumbering boogie, but otherwise this is a good sampler of British '60s blues-rock. Includes rare cuts by Spencer Davis, the Yardbirds, Graham Bond, Cyril Davies, and Alexis Korner, and off-the-beaten tracks by John Mayall, the Downliners Sect, Fleetwood Mac, Chicken Shack, and Christine Perfect (the future Christine McVie).
