DECH Auxiliary Vendor Market

The DECH Auxiliary will be holding a Vendor Market in the Cornish Rooms of the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Friday, February 12th from 9am- 2pm. 

There will be 21 Vendors in attendance.  You can expect to be treated to some home baked goodies including fudge, woodworking, jewelry, jams, jellies and pickles, candles, primitive crafts and knitting, Tupperware, skin care products and eco-friendly products for your home.  We will also have antiques, chalkboard signs and specialty steeped teas.

Auxiliary proceeds from the market will go towards our 2016 commitments totalling over $135,000 for various pieces of equipment for the Veterans unit, Laboratory Medicine, Surgical program and Diagnostic Imaging.

 As always there will be free coffee compliments of the DECH Auxiliary Coffee Shop and Van Houtte Coffee Services and a 50/50 draw.  We look forward to seeing you at the DECH Auxiliary Vendor Market!

Benefit for Ryan Lane

Ryan is 24 years old and has been fighting a life threatening disease Von Hippel Lindau since the age of 14 and at the age of 21 he lost his pancreas to this disease and now battles another life threatening disease because of it (he is now a diabetic)

The benefit is being held on Feb 12th/16  at the Marysville Heritage Center

Doors will open at 7pm for viewing and bidding on silent auction items and raffle items (there are over 50 items ranging from snowmobile jackets to pizzas) raffle items will be drawn throughout the evening.

The band 30 Years Later will be supplying the entertainment from 8 pm to 11 pm. 

There will be a 50/50 draw and a share the square draw (based like a 50/50 but you buy squares)

There will be a draw for a door prize of a framed print valued at $80.

Geary Elementary School Breakfast

Geary Elementary Community School is hosting its 15th Annual “Eat for Education” breakfast on Saturday, February 13th , at the Geary Lion’s Club.  

Breakfast will be served from 7:30am  -  10:30am and will include pancakes, bacon, sausage, eggs, toast, juice, coffee and tea.  The cost of this fabulous breakfast is $6.00 for adults, $3.00 for children and $20.00 for a family of 5 or more.  

All funds raised will be used to purchase educational materials for the children of Geary Elementary Community School. 

You are all invited to come out and enjoy a wonderful breakfast in support of the students of Geary Elementary Community School.

Winterfesthiver 2016

Minding Your Mental Health Series

Minding Your Mental Health at Crosspoint Church, 4 Coronation Court, Fredericton, on Monday, February 22nd at 7pm. With guest speakers providing general mental health awareness as well as information on anxiety and depression for this first evening. This event is free. There will be coffee and refreshments.
