You can show your support during Cancer month by wearing a Daffodil pin. These pins are available at boxes at over 50 locations throughout  the city. Autism Connections Teen Night

Every Thursday night at 7pm Autism Connections Fredericton holds aTeen Night from the ages of 13-18 siblings welcome. This takes place at the centre on Lincoln Road.

Design Works Summer Camps for Kids & Teens!

Join the fun this summer at UNB’s Design Works camps for kids and teens. With over 50 creative and educational summer camps, choose from themed art camps and Steal-the-Stage Theatre to Zoomba Art camps. Budding photographers can select from Stop Motion Animation and Outdoor photography, along with introductory classes for all ages. 

New this year, there are themed art camps taught in French, cool science and engineering camps, and an awesome DIY Handy-Kid camp. As well, the always popular Jr Iron Chef camps are offering weekly cooking themes throughout the summer.  All camps are held at UNB. FBGC Sponsor the Children campaign

Boys and Girls Club of Fredericton officially launched their annual Sponsor the Children campaign. Autism Connections Activity Afternoon

Every second and fourth Saturday we have an ACF activity afternoon from 12pm-4pm. This is for ages 7-12 siblings welcome. This takes place at the centre on Lincoln Road.

Arthritis Self-Management Progarm

-The Arthritis Society will offer an Arthritis Self-Management Program (ASMP) at the Atlantic Superstore (Community Room), 471 Smythe Street in Fredericton.

-The six-week program begins on Tuesday, April 22nd, and runs every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. until May 27th.
-This program helps people better understand their arthritis and learn ways to help cope with chronic pain, along with encouraging people to take a more active role in managing their arthritis.

Spring Luncheon

Sts. John & Paul Catholic Women's League is holding their 3rd. Annual Spring Luncheon on April 26th, 2014, Noon till 2:P.M at the Sts. Rusagonis ATV Club Poker Run

Rusagonis ATV Club Poker Run 26 Apr at the Rusagonis Rec Center, Post Road Rusagonis.  Community Breakfast starting at 8:00am.  Registration 08:30 to 10:30am.  Poker hands $10 ea, 2 for $15, or 3 for $20.  Trail Permits available if needed.  If you enjoy mud and getting wet this is the run for you!  Route will be between 50 and 75km and will be well signed.  BBQ on the trail at the Halfway Cafe.  Prizes must be claimed by 5:00pm

Where Rivers Meet

On Saturday, April 26th, at the Kinsmen Center, 141 School St. in Devon at 7:00pm, the group “Where Rivers Meet” featuring Bob Cleghorn, Dwane Drost, Jim Hadley, Bernard Clarkson, Lorrie Yerxa, Jason Cleghorn and Rick Morehouse will be hosting a “Night of Fun Music and Memories” with special guests Casey LeBlanc and Eric Wade. Cost will be $10 and there will be a canteen and door prizes.

A wedding show is being held  at Kingswood Lodge. A number of wedding related vendors will be on hand to give you all the information you need on how to plan the perfect wedding.  It is being hosted by Tale of Two Wedding Coordination and takes place Sunday April 27th between 2pm-4pm.  Admission is just $5 and that will go to the Relay For Life.

Hartland Fire Department Trade Show

The Hartland Fire Department’s 22ND Annual Spring Trade Show will be held May 2-3-4 2014 at the Hartland Arena. The show will feature the farming, forestry, and transportation industries. There will also be a host of exhibits on art, leisure, and recreation. Ball Hockey for Rotary

KHJ is proud to sponsor the 1st annual Ball Hockey for Rotary tournament May 23rd-May25th. Teams will face off for a good cause in the parking lot at the Grant Harvey Centre.

The tournament will be a fundraiser for the Rotary club to support the club’s local and international good causes such as youth literacy, help for the aged, the eradication of polio and Camp Rotary.

Transition House Softball Tournament Fundraiser

Women in Transition will be organizing a softball tourny fundraiser the weekend of May 31st. This two day event will take place at Henry Park. All proceeds will be going to Transition House; a shelter for women and children leaving domestic abuse. There will be a canteen onsite, providing BBQ and cool drinks.If you are interested in placing a team in this tourny please call 457-2770 for more information.  This is a co-ed tournament; there should be at least 3 girls on the field. Push for Your Tush

Push For Your Tush, Odell Park,  June 8th, Registration beginning at 9:00am.  Fredericton will be having its first ever "Push for Your Tush"  walk/run to raise awareness and funding for Colon Cancer Canada. There will be a 1k walk for toddlers, 5k walk and a 10k run.  There will also be a family fun day starting at 10 that includes: BBQ, face painting and games for the kids, live music & Maritime Pro Stock racer Shawn Tucker will be showing car #52.  You can register individually or as a team money raised will go to Colon Cancer research.
