Breastfeeding Community Support Drop in

Breastfeeding Community Support Drop in 

Come join us for our breastfeeding support drop in. This will be offered every Friday morning from 10:00-1:00 at the community room at the Brookside Drive Sobeys.  

This is an opportunity for parents with babies/young children to drop in, have a snack, weigh their babies, and talk to each other and a Health Professionals about feeding babies. Resources are available on a variety of topics. For more information contact: Mary Ann Peters-Gallant, BSc, RD.

Attention all cool cats and wine lovers! CARMA (Cat Rescue Maritimes) is hosting "Quaff For Cats"a wine tasting with a bit of cattitudefrom 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on July 9. The tasting is taking place at the Station on York Street. No need to be an expertit's a walk-around tasting with blind wine-guessing, prizes and a spectacular silent auction. Rusagonis Strawberry Festival Supper

STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL SUPPER WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY, JULY 16th,  from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Rusagonis Recreation Community Center - 1609 Post Road, Rusagonis. Baked Beans, Potato Salad, Ham, Brown Bread, Rolls, Strawberry Shortcake plus a variety of sweets. Oromocto Legion Golf Tournament

The Oromocto Legion will be hosting a fun golf tournament on the 31st of July 2015 @ the Gage Golf Course. The cut off to sign up is the 24th of July. You have a 4 person team if not a team will be made for you. Tee time is 1100 hours and the fee is $10 a person. If you are not a member an additional fee of $45.20 will be charged for green fees. New Maryland Canada Day celebration

Jeff Carr, MLA for New Maryland Sunbury and the Village of New Maryland Mayor and Council will be hosting free Canada Day activities at the New Maryland Center on Canada Day from 2-4 pm. Casting for a Cause

Join us on August 29th at the Oromocto Riverfront for our 1st Annual Fishing Tournament, Casting for a Cause.http://www.kidney.ca/atlantic/castingforacause.  
Launch: 8am - 12pm, BBQ by donation 11am - 2pm, Awards Ceremony 2pm.  This is a catch and release event with category prizes for the most species caught.
