Speedway 660

The biggest racing weekend of the year takes place this weekend at Speedway 660 in Geary .  Speed weekend  kicks off with a corn boil Friday night (Featuring music by Tristian Horncastle) . On Saturday Night it’s the Sportsman 150 race then on Sunday The main Event ,the pro-stock 250 lap race.  The weekend wraps up with an Enduro 200 lap race Labour day Monday. The NBEX

The Fredericton Exhibition has been taking place is Fredericton since 1827. It is the longest running and largest exhibition in the Atlantic Provinces. Last year, we had close to 35,000 visitors during the seven day period. This year’s festivities will take place from September 6th to September 12th. Since new management has taken over three years ago significant changes have been underway to improve the facilities and quality of attractions at the exhibition. This year marks our 188th exhibition, and our most ambitions and biggest changes ever. On January 28, 2014, the Board of Directors approved to change the name of the Fredericton Exhibition, to the New Brunswick Provincial Exhibition, or more casually to be known as The NBEX, or The EX.

Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation - The Pink Tour

The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF) - Atlantic Region in partnership with Shoppers Drug Mart and CIBC, are launching The Pink Tour.

For five months, this public education campaign will teach Atlantic Canadians about how small lifestyle changes can reduce your breast cancer risk.

 The Pink Tour branded mini-van, pop-up display and three bilingual Tour reps will make over 120 stops in 80 communities across the region.

Anyone (ages 8-80!) interested in learning how to play the bagpipes or drums is welcome to the Fredericton Academy of Piping and Drumming.
