Sunday Christmas Markets at the Boyce Farmers Market

The Sunday Christmas Markets will take place on December 7th, 14th, and 21st 2014, from 10am to 3pm each day at the Boyce Farmers Market. Enjoy local eats, hot beverages, a selection of musical performers. Find something for everyone on your holiday shopping list from local artisans, crafters, and many of your favourite Saturday Market vendors. You can even browse for the perfect Christmas tree.   Join us for Brunch with Santa on Dec 7th from 11am to 2pm and "Make and Take" crafts with The Beadnik on Dec 21st. Blue Christmas/Longest Night Service

There will be a Blue Christmas service (also called Longest Night because the date coincides with the longest night of the year, the Winter Solstice) at St. Paul’s United Church (corner of George and York streets) on Sunday evening, December 21, at 7:00 p.m. The service, led by Rev. Richard Bowley of St. Paul’s and Rev. Ellen Beairsto of Wilmot United, will include scripture readings and music selected to comfort those who are feeling blue this Christmas. Come and find peace in this evening of reflection and remembrance, healing and hope. All are welcome to attend.

Holiday Blood Donor Clinic

Nashwaaksis Y's Men Club Charity Breakfast

The Nashwaaksis Y’s Men Club will be holding a charity breakfast in support of the Mitch Clarke Sports for Kids Memorial Fund.   The event will take place at the Willie O’Ree Place community room on Saturday, January 3rd, 2015 from 8am til 10:30am.  For just $7 for adults and $5 for children you can enjoy a hearty and delicious breakfast and also help out a very worthy cause.
