Fredericton Sunday Flea Market

The Fredericton Sunday Flea market has been  a tradition in town for the past 25 plus years.  It is held every Sunday at the Capital Winter Club (curling club) at 232 Rookwood Avenue.  From 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  There is everything from crafts, antiques, collectibles, jewelry, record LP's video games, food vendors, home decor and more. To book tables, please call Tony at 472-2923.

Autism Connections Knowledge Night / Events

 On Tuesday, September 16 at 7pm Autism Connections Fredericton will be hosting a Knowledge night at the centre the topic is Therapeutic Riding All are welcome. For more information please contact the centre at 450-6025.

Every Wednesday from 2pm-3pm we have a playgroup at the centre 

Every  Thursday we have Teen Night from 7pm-9pm for the ages of 12-19. It's a potluck nut free snack and siblings are welcome.

Fredericton MS Chapter meeting

The Fredericton MS Chapter will have their first meeting of the fall on Thursday September 18 at 7pm in the Community Room of the Sobeys store on Regent St. We will be discussing suggested speakers for the coming year, and distributing MS Christmas Cake order forms as the campaign has now started. Benefit for Matt Hood

There will be a fundraising benefit for Matt Hood, on Friday, September 19th @ 7pm, at the Kinsmen Centre on School St., in Devon.  There will be a silent auction, 50/50 draw, as well as entertainment by "After 30 Years".  Matt was injured in an accident in August, and all proceeds from this event will go toward his recovery.  For more information call Lisa 458-2856 or 476-1576.

Doors Open Day

Sunday (Sept 21)  is the City of Fredericton’s annual Doors Open Day and we at   are pleased to be participating.  Stop into to our studios here at 206 Rookwood Ave  for a  tour, enjoy some cake and say hello to your favourite radio personalities.    In total 19 venue across the city will be open for tours including Firestations, churchs, the Playhouse and the convention centre and many more. 'The Alzheimer Journey- First Steps

The Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick  will be presenting 'The Alzheimer Journey- Firsts Steps' in Fredericton starting in October and March.  "The Alzheimer Journey - First Steps" is a free education series designed for those recently diagnosed with dementia, their family and friends.  This free program will run for five consecutive weeks, cover such topics as: What is Dementia?, Communication and Coping Strategies, Navigating the System, and Legal Matters.
