A delegation from Algeria is touring the region to learn more about our potatoes. Algeria is the largest importer of potato seeds in North Africa, and New Brunswick is hoping to get a bigger share of that market. The group toured the Potato Research Centre in Fredericton Thursday morning. Research scientist Benoit Bizimungo says the centre has a lot to offer. The group visited PEI earlier this week.
A dozen youngsters have been spending their week with Fredericton Police officers as members of the force's junior police academy. They've been conducting a mock crime investigation and finally solved the case and made an arrest Thursday afternoon at the Bucket Club.
